National Level Ideathon 2026 Successfully Hosted at Dr. SNS Rajalakshmi College of Arts and Science

Dr. SNS Rajalakshmi College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore, successfully hosted Ideathon 2026 – A National Level Event from 25th to 27th February 2026, with participation from 200 teams across six states.The event was inaugurated with the blessings of Founder Chairman Deiva Thiru Dr. S. N. Subbramanian, The ceremonial lamp was lit by Dr. S. Rajalakshmi, Chairman & Correspondent and featured inspiring addresses from eminent leaders including Mr. Naveed Narayanan, Vice President, Bosch Global Software Technologies. The welcome address was delivered by Dr. R. Anitha, Principal ,Dr. M. Daniel, CEO, and Dr. P. Naresh Kumar, Vice Principal, felicitated the gathering. During the valedictory function, Dr. S. Nalin Vimal Kumar, Technical Director, distributed prizes to the winners.

With cash prizes worth lakhs, including a grand first prize of ₹5,00,000, the event celebrated creativity, collaboration, and entrepreneurial spirit.

Ideathon 2026 stood as a powerful platform empowering young innovators to transform ideas into impactful solutions.

Prize Winners
Erode Sengunthar Engineering College won the First Prize with a cash award of ₹5,00,000 along with a trophy and certificates.

PSGR Krishnammal College for Women secured the Second Prize with a cash award of ₹2,00,000 along with a trophy and certificates.

Eight teams were awarded Consolation Prizes of ₹10,000 and Fourteen teams received Special Appreciation Awards of ₹5,000 each.

Happy to share that, our College student Abishek B III BSc CS - GCD has won a Bronze Medal in the K-1 Semi PRO (StrawWeight) - 52KG, Senior, Ring Fight division at the prestigious ISKA India Open International Kickboxing Championship 2026.Remarkably, he is the first and only fighter from Coimbatore to participate in a PRO Fight in ISKA history.
